One of my fellow students and I were co-leaders of the 2019 team and specifically this project, which allowed us to learn multiple leadership skills, such as organisation and efficiency. For the 2019 issue we went with the same layout but more pages, which meant we could include more content and be more creative. The 2018 zine proved to be a success so we were so excited to be able to receive funding to make another issue. Some key features we managed to include were Maia Boakye's celebrating pride Skittle packaging design, an exhibition on 20th Century Persian newspaper type and many more student work.
In every issue we like to have a spread on who the team is and what we do, with the hope of inspiring other people to do the same or join our cause.
